Application progress of imaging technology in high-pressure injection injury

[Abstract] High-pressure injection injury is a serious compound injury. The early clinical manifestations include small wounds and mild symptoms. However, the disease progresses relatively rapidly. Delay of debridement can even lead to amputation. The use of imaging technology can evaluate injection of foreign materials and the changes in tissue structure caused by high-pressure injection injury, including diffusion of foreign materials, invasion of soft tissue, infection and blood supply. To further explore the relationship between imaging features and tissue damages caused by high-pressure injection injury. This article reviews the application progress of X-ray, CT, MRI and ultrasonography in the diagnosis and treatment of high-pressure injection injury.
